Our headquarters in Westfield, Indiana saw its first snowfall last week, and with it came thoughts of the holiday season. The colorful glow of festive lights, Christmas carols being sung at your door, the smell of oven roasted turkey waiting to be eaten, and the panicky feeling of last minute shopping spring to mind. Sure, it can be a stressful time for some, but who doesn’t ultimately look forward to it all? Now that you’ve finished all your Halloween candy, it’s time to fill up on something with a little more nutritional value: Thanksgiving dinner.
That’s right, it’s everybody’s favorite turkey themed holiday is here. It’s that time of year where we come together to reflect on and appreciate all that life has given us. For some it’s getting that big promotion at work or paying off the mortgage, for others it’s something more simple or traditional like family, Grandma’s famous pumpkin pie, or simply being able to put food on the table. Whatever it may be, Thanksgiving has become an American holiday that we all know and love, ever since its humble beginnings in colonial times. So enjoy the food while it lasts, and give thanks where it’s due. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
In observance of Thanksgiving, Storage Solutions will be closed on Thursday November 22, 2012 and will reopen on Friday the 23rd.
